This was a brownfield site located in the middle of a busy industrial estate and prior to us starting the civils work we undertook a site clearance exercise to remove a large amount of vegetation that had grown across the site over a number of years.

The site was also underlain by a large amount of existing services, which had to be carefully worked around, in order to prevent any incidents and to ensure that the proposed development could be built in accordance with the approved plans.

Acting as principal contractor, we carried out our own contracted civils balance of plant works and oversaw the safe and effective implementation of other contractors works within Conrad’s supply chain, on their behalf.
